How many reboots does one game need?
I loved the last one, and managed to 1000GS it. The achievements were set just right.
Just hope that the targets that only appear once and for a limited time aren't needed for achievements?
Man there are so many games I want towards the end of the year, I'd better start saving up now...

They changed his face?!
They're also changed the release date, it's been put back till March.
Apparently it's so they can put more in the game for when it releases......
I always find it odd when it's not a reboot when they change things that are so staple to the franchise like faces.
Only a month away so a bit quiet?
Beta on PS4 anounced.
Its Episodically released?
Not sure how that will work with a game like this. Is it 1 mission a month? your gonna get bored and move on?
'Hitman will launch on 11th March 2016 as a truly episodic game experience with a major live component. The episodic nature of Hitman allows us to craft both individual stories centred on Agent 47’s targets as well as longer season stories involving 47, Diana Burnwood, the ICA and an entirely new main cast.'
Sounds like they have fallen so far behind the deadline they've decided to make it episodic?
That doesn't interest me at all.
All these game companies don't seem to want my money, another game to wait and pick it up from the bargain bin.....
As I said earlier in the thread, there was nothing wrong with the last game they released, give me more of that and I'd bite your hand off.
Up for pre-order now - out 11 March.
HITMAN™ The Full Experience
HITMAN™ Intro Pack
Full £30 Russia
Intro £8 Argentina
I played the beta on PS4, not for me.
Not a fan of this episodic model of gaming.
I am but this is completely the wrong genre for it.
Probably the only idiot to pre order the collectors edition ha!
Zavvi was the cheapest at £100
Hitman - Collector's Edition
Then got a further £10 off! So happy at £90.
Played every hitman to death (no pun intended) so will hopefully enjoy this one
Yep. I'd rather buy digital and pick up the whole game for £30 from some foreign country. Is it worth £60 extra to you?!
I am a massive hitman fan so quite happy with the price TBH.
Normally I would wait until the price drops out but knowing my luck I will miss it
What's included in the intro pack?
training and first episode basically.
Hitman is one of the only franchises I buy day one and take time off work to dive in... That and Fallout. But this one, I'm not so sure about.
It's a combination of buying a slice of a game, without knowing how big that slice is (a few days worth of fun?) and, having watched the Giant Bomb Quick Look... yep, it looks like another Hitman (bit like how Fallout 4 turned out).
Playing with the idea of getting The Division then Quantum Break to get me through a couple of months and see how Hitman turns out.
It's a shame, and I've not yet decided, but still need convincing it's worth the punt.
Same here, always enjoyed the Hitman series, but think I'll hold out until price drops and other episodes are released - no guarantee of the them being released in a timely manner.
Thanks for the link. Encouraging review. I picked up The Division today, but am thinking that I'll pre-order the Hitman Intro Pack for when I need a change of pace. For £11, it's not too much of an investment... can always get the Upgrade Pack thereafter.
See the disc version is delayed to 2017. Not sure why when all the content would be out in 2016.
I got refunded on The Division after the beta
Why I love all things Clancy and 3rd person cover based shooters are a genre I really enjoy I just felt, despite various comments, it's a game you get most of (a) in a group and (b) with time and seeing as I'm an anti social gamer who loathes online play and gets very little gaming time, I went with hitman
Tonight will be my first go on the new Hitman as did not bother with beta on PS4 or elsewhere. Going to be juggling this and The Division.
I think I'll be in the same boat, juggling the two games. Not going to get to start Hitman just yet though. Let us know what you think... caught a few streams today (whilst on audios with work) and it looks really solid... still not sure about the longevity of two missions though...
Not to go off topic, but I played a few hours of Division last night. Am similarly a lone gamer and with limited time (usually late or very early) but am really enjoying it. Didn't like the Beta, but am so far really into this as a solo player.

I picked up the intro pack from Beuno Aires for just under £8 and they say the additional add ons will be cheaper so I'm estimating at approx £6 (they are listed as $15 dollar for intro pack and then $10 dollars per add on in the US)
The intro pack gets you 2 prologue/training areas and Paris, they have committed to Italy releasing in April and then Morocco in May, then they have a further 3 locations in Thainland, the US and finally Japan later in the year. IO state there will be monthly updates including live events ad contracts as detailed in the link below
Struggling to tear myself away from The Division but when I did I liked what I'd played so far and pulling off the perfect assassination gave me a real buzz, IMO its Hitman back to its best, theres multiple ways of experimenting and completing objectives and with the live content detailed above I think this game has some serious legs even though its being released episodically.
Had very little time to put to either this or Division over the past few days, but what I have played has been a true return to form. If you didn't like Hitman before, this won't change your mind. I have fond memories of Silent Assassin, Contracts or Blood Money (not so much Absolution) and this is like a gorgeous, huge and well-paced return to the spirit of those games. Still loads to do on just the intro pack yet, but I'm looking forward to also picking up the upgrade pack soon. Just hoping it sells enough to keep IO in good business and this franchise returning to store shelves (or digital stores, whatever).
Got a weird thing happening with this, when on the main menu there appears to be an option to download the next episode and when I click the option it takes me to the xbox store. Then I find the upgrade pack as I bought the intro and then opted on upgrade rather than full experience and it gives me the screen with manage, when I click select that it goes to the next screen which is just plain grey with my gamerpic up top. Hope there hasn't been some kind of conflict due to me buying it from Argentina! xbox.com says I've 'already purchased' so I'm hoping when content is available in the early hours (due to argentina time difference) it just kinda takes care of itself and installs.
