I've taken the trouble of doing a mini review of my favorite Hitchcock movie, please have a look and give your own personal fave (on this forum of course) www.avsforum.com/ubb/Forum30/HTML/000250.html

Rear Window for me every time I'm afraid. Excellent review though.

I can feel the humid heat of a New York summer just by watching Rear Window. It is so atmospheric. Pity it was made in a time when films were a lot more "modest", it would have been nice to see a bit more flesh. Come to think about it, that last statement makes the whole film depend on the Hollywood attitude to modesty, in real life LB Jeffries' would have to have been a pervert!

    Thanks Mart,
As I said regarding Rear Window, my second fave, Hitchcock somehow turned us, the audience all into perve's. It was almost as if we became part of a voyers club, with Jimmy Stewart as our club chairman.

Has to be Vertigo for me.
    Alfred Hitchcock, Bernard Herrmann's music
San Francisco, James Stewart, Kim Novak.
