Do Hitachi still make CRT tv's or ar they concentrating on Plasma's these days?

They do not seem to have much of a range these days - the CF32WF540N & CF28WF540N are about it by the looks of things.

Does any one have one of these?

So far I have been put off the following TV's

    TOSH - Bad geometry
PANSONIC - Ugly amongst other things
    JVC - Too fat
    Sony - All sorts

I don't rate Hitachi products at all. They may have been good years ago, but not now.

You may be put off TOSH, PANSONIC, JVC and Sony after reading various threads about owners problems, but bear in mind these sets sell in far bigger numbers than Hitachi.

I'm quite certain if Hitachi sold as many sets as the above manufacturers, there would be more posts about problems with Hitachi than any other make.

If I remember correctly, it was mentioned nearly a year ago that they were pulling out of CRT's and other basic consumer electronics to concentrate on Plasmas and other high end gear.
