    Hi,

My new plasma arrived today, happy man !!!!

    Question though.

I also bought a SYNCBLASTER CABLE SCART TO 5 BNC ( http://www.ilgroup.co.uk/avd/cabling.htm ), my problem is that the cable has BNC connectors and not BNC Phono points, will I be able to use a BNC Female to Phono Plug Adaptor to connect to my plasma.

    If not any suggestions ?

    Thanks in advance

    Yeah why not?
Obviously the cable is designed for use with a projector or high end computer monitor.
I would possibly consider snipping off the BNCs and maybe soldering on some good Phonos. Perhaps a bit neater.

    Thanks for the reply,

I'm a bit worried about cutting them off as I only have a red, blue and green component bnc phono connections on the plasma, but if these female to bnc convertors work might look at snipping them and soldering good phono points on.

    Cheers on again

    Hi zorg,

You seem to be a bit confused with your "bnc phonos."! You can get BNC to Phono adapters from www.rgbtosvideo.com - look in the cables section.

    Hi Steve,

Your right confused & pulling my hair out trying to get it connected all day. Been to Sevenoaks & Hi-Fi Corner all gave me the wrong lead, even took my manual for the plasma with me :(

I think i need RGB Scart to 3 RCA with the cable sync'd as well. Does this make sense ?

    Any help much appreciated.

You do not need a Sync blaster cable, all you need are:-
Scart to RGB + composite sync for your sky and video
Component to d sub for you dvd if it gives component out and change the configuration in the menu for either RGB1 or RGB 2 from rgb to component.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the help.

I take it you mean something like a QED AV1920 ,also would I be able to use a QED Q-Sync ActiveSync Extractor SCART to 15-pin D Connector to connect a rgb source to VGA connectors on my plasma ?

    Once again thanks in advance.
