    Dear all,

I am a newbee and just bought an Hitachi 42PD3000.
This is an amazing plasma with excellemnt image with all kind of images.
I live in France and use a Canal+ digital decoder with RGB scart input : very very good.
The Hitachi is even better (if possible) with my panasonic DMR 100.

I tried to read all the thread on the Hitachi (very hard...), and like you I am trying to get the best and more versatile image settings.

As I didn't find any way to go back to the defaults image settings, can someone help me especially on page 2 (CTI, LTI, YNR...default settings?)

Could also this thread be the place to put all your favorite image settings, as you got exeperience with them?

    Thanks

    François

Why not try searching the forums, as I think quite a few people have provided settings before...

OK pour everybody, voilà my réglages !

    On 100 :

    White balance : 25
    Contrast : 50
    Light : 50
    Color : 50
    Sharpness : 33
    Contratst mode : Auto
YNR and CNR : OFF ( pour NTSC, I think)
    Black Strech : Mid
Cinema : No ( horizontal text scrolling often unreadable with it) switch frame rate to 24 like cinema, instead of 25 frame/s.

I got a little flickering (the contrast seems to vary when you pass from light scene to dark), but thats the best I got from it !

The colors are perfect with my Pilotime.

Hope that will help ! J'espère que ça t'aidera !
    A+ See You !
