.............Can anybody tell me if this plasma can be connected up without it's tuner box. Can I connect it to my sky digi/telewest box and if so what kind of cable would I require? As my tuner box is in for repair, I'd like to be able to at least use the panel. Anybody come across this problem? If so, how did you splve it? Cheers.

I have not heard of anyone trying, many have speculated that the tuner box input on the PD3000 is a DVI port. Hitachi say that it is not DVI, but it uses Silicon Image DVI transmitter and receiver chips at each end, so it looks like it is. Also the same multimedia box connects into the new pd5000 series via the DVI port. So it may be possible to connect a DVI signal from a DVD player but it will be a case of suck it and see. :D
