This one's not all about size. Am moving to a flat with a SMALL lounge 240cm (~8ft) at it's widest. Bear in mind a sofa has gotta go in too.

Thus, in a convenient space-saving excuse to myself, I need a plasma. Look at the compulsive toy-loving logic there.

    My question is a simple one, 32" Hitachi (2329 - www.discounttv.co.uk) or 37" Panasonic 5 series (2199 - www.robertwhyteltd.co.uk).

Gonna be running DVDs from a Toshiba 110E and Freeview from a Nokia 221T (possibly Sky at some stage). Were I to get the Pana5 I'd obviously by the highly rated JS converter.

    My concerns are:
    - Size of screen being that close (it'll be about 6ft)
    - PQ
    - Connectivity
    - Haven't seen much on the 32" but what I have seen is good

In other news I might also splash for the Relisys 1720 for my bedroom figure as I'm doing up the whole place... (ideally want to run freeview and PS2 off that - anyone got any supplemental comments?)

Get the 37inch. it will be fine with that size of room. relisys has had mixed reviews here so I'd go view it.

Given that - might it even be worth a 42" model?

Perhaps even the Pany5 or 6?

Surely at that range I'll begin to see individual pixels etc?

    Any other input?
