hitachi liquid coupled 9 crt what to use them on!

    I have been offered these by a guy who doesnt know where they came from!
    He says they are in great condition, I am tempted but I dont know what to do with them but I saw some pics they look good, I thought most crt 9 tubes were sony mec, anyone know what these hitachi tubes go into, maybe I can put them into my Barco graphics 808 s ? am I nuts who knows, someone tell me lol!, I am completely new to all this its great fun better than messing with my pc.

    Hitachi stoped making tubes years ago. I have only seen one projector with them fitted and for the life of me can't remember where or what projector they were on.
    Getting any 9" tube into an 808 will be tricky due to the tube width

    These 9" Hitachi tubes were used for the big old 70" rear projection Hitachi t.v.`s.

    Thanks gents, the tubes were immaculate so I thought I might give it a go and see what they were for, thanks for your help.
