    Hi.

I bought the 80GB, because i have an 320GB HDD on order, I hope it works.

Anyway the manual i received with my DVR is for a newer firmware version V3.4 and my box is only V2.4

Their is a feature to start the recording earlier and finish it later in the manual but that only on V3.4 firmware and my V2.4 does not have that option

It seems a bit stupid to supply a manual with menu options that are not in the DVR you bought.:thumbsdow

I suppose i will have to wait for a new firmware download.

This machine is sold under a number of names, daewoo, sharp, hitachi, ect

some can only record 1 channel at a time, some can record 2.

    regards

    John.

I just bought a HDR081 from Argos. When I got home and opened the packaging it was clear that someone else had already opened the box before, as all the plastic bags inside were broken. Worse there is no instruction manual inside!!!!

I'm really angry with Argos. Obviously they have no concerns about ripping off their customers.
