Hitachi CP2865TAN gives "no model setup" after pushing the two volume buttons on the TV.
The ir reception (remote control) on the TV is defective so I can't go to the install menu.
Is there an other way to go in the setup without the remote control? By connecting some points on the print temp.
What connection inside the tv can I cut or somethings else to eliminate the "no model setup" thats comes on the screen .
The Tv works good and I switch the programs by a VCR
    Thanks for your reply

No. You're up the creek without a paddle if you don't have a remote.

It is solved with a smal capacitor soldered (not with a paddle :nono: ) on the IC. the indications "no model setup" is gone en the tv works normaly(without remote control :thumbsdow )

    thanks for the reply(maybe to quick :) :)? )

the "No" was a stimulation for me to fix the thing

    Luc
