I have had a Hitachi C28WF560N flat screen tv for 6 months and it's now developed a fault. It looks like the tv has lost the flat screen ability so that the picture looks distorted (bent as if it was aimed at a curved screen). Vertical lines in the picture that are near each side appear curved. When in 16:9 mode, it seems part of the picture goes off the screen and when in 4:3 mode the picture occupies more of the screen than it used to.

I have tried all the zoom settings and nothing seems to work. I have also tried unplugging the tv overnight but that doesn't help either. Help please.

The set obviously has a picture geometry fault.
If it's still under guarantee call wherever you bought it from.......there is nothing you can DIY.
