My mini hifi (Hitachi AX-M140) has started humming noise through the speakers, most noticable when volume is low via all sources (worse with music bank and tuner). What could cause this?
I have renewed 3 capacitors in the amplifier (2x 220uF, 1x 100uF) which looked dodgy, but no improvement.
Could it be the 2 large 4700uF 50v capacitors in the power supply that are faulty? Visually, they look OK with no bulging or leaking.
Thanks!
