    Hi,

I have a 42PD3000E with a Uvem HTPC and am considering whether there is any point in having the set ISF callibrated.

Picture was improved using the HTPC but there are limited picture adjustment options available in PC mode so i have not messed about at all.

Has anyone either calibrated or had their Hitachi set callibrated and if so what benefits were achieved?

    TIA

    Chris

Chris: In HTPC mode there are still RGB gain and cut adjusments for colour temperature and there are still brightness and contrast adjustments yes? I think you lose the RGBCMY adjustment options though is that correct?

If so you should find that calibration could still be a nice improvement.

    Hi Godon,

Just left a message on your answerphone.

PC mode offers Brightness, contrast something called PCL which is a voltage (either0.7V or 1.0V if picture is too saturated.

Lots of options using the graphics card which I suppose is where you might come in.....
