Can anyone confirm that the 42PMA400E will accept component video on the 2 Dsub inputs - using a JS RGB to Component convertor and a "Component to Dsub" lead - (since it won't accept an RGB to VGA convertor as the Horizontal frequency is too high, apparently)
Needs to be 15KHz - Hitachi minimum is 24.)
As an aside - using the "Life extension 2 mode" which limits the maximum brightness to 60%, it takes 60 hours to get down to the "minimum useful brightness" !! This according to the graph on their website. Any comments ?
    Thanks.
