Hi everyone...i hope this is in the right section...
I have a Hitachi 42PD7200 that i have had since new (approx 6years) which has given faultless service. i was playing the ps3 on it last night with no problem and went to switch it on this morning and it would not switch on...no light, no click to say its working...nothing.
i have checked the plug fuse which appears ok...i am trying to find someone else who has a tv that takes the same power cord to try and eliminate that. is this a known problem? if its something like a power supply unit, how much should i budget for a repair please? its a great tv so i dont know want to write it off after only 6 years service. any help greatly appreciated. thank you.
