    hiya,

i have about £2,200 to spend on a plasma and was thinking about getting a new hitachi 42pd7200 or nearly the same or better.

it has to be hdtv because i dont want a tv that is out of date in a couple of years when i spend this kind of money.

    i also have sky+ 160gb plus a ps2 so scart sockets are a must.

    cheers.

i would suggest waiting till may/june when the panny TH-42PV500B is available, also add the pio 435FDE and XDE to list.............

PS component is much better for PS than scart...........and very very few plasmas handke RGB scart well (Sky)
