Guys I picked up a HITACHI 42PD7200 and havd it about two month.

Its a awesome TV but every now and then I have this issue. I havn't had it for many weeks and thought it was a problem with just how I had it set up but now I've turned on my TV and its back.

The TV stops outputing sound and I get the message "No Sync Signal" across the from of my image.

This has happened playing DVD's (Sony DVD attached via S Video) and now with SKY (Scart 2)

    Can you help me out?
If I leave my tv off for a while it will come back (fibgers crossed) sometime.

I think it may have something to do with if I leave my DVD player on while watching normal TV but not sure?

    Please Help

Checked the cables and their all fine, its coming up "No Sycn Sygnal" for any Scart input.

Sound doesn't work on normal TV (through ariel) eiter when there is this issue.
However it does work through the headphone port (if I plug in the extra connectors box)

This is the first time this has happened with Sky
(however DVD was left on pause all day but not being viewed)

    Any ideas guys?

(ps unrelatedly im now haveing a naight mare, have me sky connected to another tv via ariel connection and after turning on and off its swealing really bad UGG!!)

    Ariel

    NO WAY!

Set the Sky to RGB connecto to SCART 2! set to RGB

    great picture hassle free

Invest in some good cables or it isnt worth it

Use component to connect to the DVD! leaving on pause all day isnt really a good idea.

If ur using AF cable might as well stuck with CRT!
    :(
