Just bought the above kit. How does the screen attach to the stand?

Alphason say its a universal fixing - anyone else tried this combination successfully?

On the back of the Hitachi you should have four threaded holes. Use these to fix the 2 cross bars that came with the Alphason to the back of the plasma (be careful with the length of the bolts, use the 20mm M8 ones). Then bolt the whole thing to the stand using the four remaining holes in the cross bars.

Thanks for that - the top bar fits ok but at the bottom of the screen there is a raised cover for the connections which is wider than the indent in the bar.

    Am I missing something here?

how much wider, If I remember correctly there are spacers in the pack of nuts and bolts that came with the stand. Maybe a set of these would bring out the bars away from the cover so that it bolts to the upright.

Bottom box is about 2" wider than the bracket opening and is raised by about 3/4" from the surface of the rear. If I use spacers over this distance it will set the whole screen 3/4" out of the vertical when I come to hang it.

Just wondering whether you have sorted this yet, as I am thinking about getting the same combination?
