Please help make my mind up for me, I have narrowed down to the LG PX11 (new) with 5000:1 contrast, or the 42" HITACHI 42PD5200. Both are available at under 1,500.

Which one is better? I know or assume the Hitachi model is HDTV ready, not sure about the LG.

    Thanks

Ok theres also the PANASONIC PW7 for under 1,500, so between the 3, LG PX11, HITACHI PD5200.

I got the price off ebay.

Panny has IMO have best PQ (Hitachi isnt HD ready as far as i am concerned.......) LG has good connections but PQ is poor compared to panny, hitachi is ALIS so for some uses is good, for others isnt.....

Thanx for the reply hd, so the Panny PW7 for PQ but not HDTV, would i need anything other than a scart board for it, considering there are no speakers?.

And also i read on this forum that the new LG PX11 5000:1 rivals the panny PQ is this true?, cos then the LG would be the best option considering it has speakers and better connectivity.
