    Hello there

I have a £60 Haupage freeview box connected to my Hitachi at one end and my rooftop aerial, at the other. The picture is sometimes superb and frustratingly sometimes affected by a moire or slight honeycombing. Is this the tele' or the 'signal'? In my ignorance I thought a digital signal either 'got through' or it didn't. Can the picture be improved by 'boosting' the signal by an amplifier, or using some other piece of equipment?

    Thank you

How are you connecting the box to the TV ?

    Via the aerial lead ?
    Scart ?
    s-video ?
    Some other way ?

It has aerial in and then scart out to the Hitachi.
    Thank you
