Hitachi 32PD5200 setting up VCR

    Can any Hitachi ownwers help me connect my VCR please. I have one scart socket which takes Sky box feed.I have tried connecting VCR with scart to phono leads to AV1 and also scart to scart on the Sky box but i cannot get the VCR to show up anywhere.
    Also tried the auto tune in TV mode but it cant find the VCR.

    Which buttons do i push ??

    Scart to S Video?
    I tuned mine in manually after i'd auto tuned all the normal channels,just keep going right on the tuning band lol.

    It's easier if you put a video in and play it as well,easier to look out for something that you know is playing.

    Is there an other s-video input as i am using one for my DVD player which only has component and s-video.
    If i connect to AV1 with component why doesn't it play VCR? (i think this is supposed to be for video camera)
    Just trying to understand all the connection options.
    As i think i am using the s-video input how else could i do this as i thought going through the sky box with scart it should pick up VCR also according to the diagram supplied.
    I did tune while playing video but nothing showed up?
