Just took delivery and like most folk very impressed with it. The only query I have is that when using my dvd player and I press the progressive scan button on the player, the screen splits in two and turns purple. It's ok when progressive scan is switched off. I am connecting my player via the scart on AV3. Any ideas how to fix this?
    Cheers. :smashin:

I would have thought that progressive scan won't be available through a scart socket. You will need to connect your dvd via the component connection with a suitable lead, then progressive scan should be fine.

progressive scan does not work through scart cables, it works only through component cables or HDMI/DVI cables.

When you activate progressive on your dvd, rgbvia your scart is unable to handle the progressive scan signal and hence the strange display on yout tv.

Get some components cable and enjoys beautiful prog scan images!
