    Hi all,

I have been keeping track of the above 2 LCDs for quite some time in this thread. Thanks to all who have provided all the valuable information in this board.

Seems like both LCDs are equally good in terms of pq and handling of fast motion. As Hitachi LCD screen has been out for almost half a year, and with the impresssion that Hitachi is only good in Plasma TVs, can Hitachi really compete with the rest of the brands such as Phillips, Sharp, Toshiba and Panasonic? Based on the feedback here, 32LD7200 seems to be a very good screen, despite the fact that the Panasonic LXD500 was launched recently?

Perhaps we can start a thread to discuss the differences between the above models?

Have a read/search... loads of info about both including comparisons.

I bought the Panasonic as i preferred it... better PQ, nicer looks etc.

I agree with Scott. Bought the Panasonic after I had the Hitachi for about one week. PQ really is better in my opinion, especially the blacks. Both feature an IPS-Panel.
