Just got hold of an Hitachi 32LD7200 LCD tv  VERY VERY pleased with it.
Can anyone recommend the best cables we need to get the best picture from our Panasonic surround sound SC-HD870 and Sky plus box ?

    :lease:

I am not that technical - budget about £30 a lead and we are using scart at the moment

Could double budget if it's going to make a real difference to picture from DVDs

Do you have sound coming through the scart to the tv or does the Panasonic handle all the sound??

Muted tv and just using surround sound speakers (when tv is turned up it acts little like an echo, so prefer it off)

Got to ask, have you got the buzzing problem?

Also for the cables component is best for DVD (assuming you haven't got an hdmi connection on your dvd player) and just a decent scart cable for Sky+. Just remember AV1 is not RGB, 2&3 are. I don't think you want to spend more than about £30 on a scart for Sky+.

No buzzing at all - tried all different settings and never heard anything - we do have an ex demo model of 2wks old, maybe it's just settled in as it's been on all the time ...
Don't meat to sound thick, but what is compents for DVD ?? are they audio cables with three sockets one end and scart the other ?? we have one of those to try but unsure which three to put them in on tv.
