Appreciate the non commitment as I know its difficult to set timelines, but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,within the next couple of months??We'll be reviewing the NU8700 and NU9700 just as soon as we can.
Thanks Stevewell I should be getting the NU8700 next week and then the NU9700 a few weeks after that but I can't be any more precise than that I'm afraid.
That's hard for me to answer because unfortunately I haven't seen any other budget TVs so far this year but I'd be very surprised if you can find better at the price point.Generally speaking, is there a better 2017 55" TV than this for £800 or less?
There will be a video soon.Hi, Steve
Could you share the calibration setting of 55N6800? I would like make my one to be better. I appreciate it.
Are they all set to ARC in the sound menu, I had same issue and I think that’s how I solved it.
Sorry I meant just the speaker setting set to ARC, I can’t remember how I got rid of the volume bar as I had other connection issues with my amp not being 2.2 compliant so have checked my settings and it’s set to that in the menu.
Sound like you may have a dodgy HDMI cable, my issue was my amp which is 4yrs old and isn’t 2.2 compliant which is the spec for skyq uhd.
I unplugged everything and sat in the middle of the room scratching my head, eventually I worked it out and it all worked, the upside was the onscreen volume bar disappeared but I can’t tell you at which point it went.
My set up is:-
Skyq to tv ARC HDMI in, and optical lead out of sky box to amp. Then separated in amp settings so the sound still comes out the amp and not the tv. That might be why the bar isn’t on the tv.
Figured out the volume bar issue, if you use the tv one to change the amp volume it also shows on the tv but if you use in my case the skyq or amp one it doesn’t show on the tv and only on the amp.
