    Hi,
Recently bought the 40 inch H40M3300 Hisense 4K TV.
Everything was OK to start with, audio and video fine.

But, then I connected it to the house wifi. A few minutes later the TV informed me that a new software upgrade was available.
I pressed OK, and the software upgrade proceeded OK.

BUT, now the TV doesn't have any audio!!!!!
TV picture is OK, but no sound !!!!

    What's going on ????
    Is there a fix???

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks
    Nick

Have you tried power cycling it?

Ha, yes, of course that was tried.
Fortunately, I got a response from Hisense Tech Support. They said that the latest firmware upgrade for that model TV re-purposes two of the 4 HDMI sockets to have HDR capabilities.
But, if I use my old Sagem set-top-box (not HD) then it will lose audio if I use either of those HDMI ports.
So, I simply had to use one of the other two HDMI ports - and IT WORKS :)

So, I'm happy after all :)
