    Hi guys,

Just bought the new Hisense M3300 TV from Argos. It doesn't appear on the Hisense website yet (weird) but I e-mailed Hisense and it basically replaces the K321/EC591U range.

Everything seems to be the same as the previous model, but has Amazon 4K, and HDR compatibility with HDMI 2.0a. Still no YouTube 4K though :(

Has anyone else got one yet? I'm having issues with motion. If "Ultra Smooth Motion" is turned off, the picture is juddery, but if I put it on low, I get tearing when things move on the screen.

Apart from that, I'm loving the TV. Blacks are black, and colours are vibrant. Hooked up to my AV receiver it's brilliant!

Any help would be much appreciated!

Sorry I can't help with your issue but can you confirm that this model actually comes with the Amazon app?

I know that people who own the 2015 models are still waiting for the Amazon app to be added via a firmware update but if the 2016 models have it then that could indicate that it's on its way.

    Thanks.

    Nice one! :)

Looks like quite a nice TV, which gives me hope for the ULED M7000 model.

Can you give any feedback about the HDR on this set?

Well, Netflix doesn't support HDR on Hisense sets (yet) so I've not had any material to test it with!

Any chance I could see a picture from the side please? :)

Going by the spec seems deeper than many new tv's?

It's not obnoxiously big, in fact, i'd go so far as to say it's thinner than it looks in the picture. Hope it helps!

    Thank you :)

Still trying to decide between this and the Hisense 58 at a similar price. Some seem to be having issues with 4k at 60hz via hdmi on the 58, so thinking the newer model (firmware updates) and HDR may be better than the 3 inchs + 3D.

I'd stick with the 55. Like you say its newer, so they'll support this model for longer (more updates!)

3 inches does make a difference!
you are weighing potential future support against smaller screen....

Any idea what the input lag is on the tv. Also have you tried hooking it up to a PC. Or played any console games on it.

Size isn't everything... surely potential new features outweigh the need for a bigger screen? Unless you just want bragging rights.

I've not measured the input lag, but I play console games and not noticed anything awful. PC plays through fine :)

It should do, but I don't have a HDMI 2.0 PC hooked up to my TV. Waiting for a new Intel NUC to arrive :)

Olivarrr you seem to be the authority on this tv :D I'm maybe getting 50" version today from here Richer Sounds so your saying input lag is good and does it definitely have hdmi 2.2? For 4k blue ray sky q you view 4k etc.? Any other problems? Thanks!
Ps can't find this model anywhere online for specs etc....very odd.

Any comment on the viewing angles? I've seen comments to the effect that to get a good picture, you need to be pretty central to the set, no good for me if I'm wall mounting it...
I've got an older 40" Samsung that was pricey at the time, and looking to trade up, but fearing an inferior picture!

Viewing angles not amazing..move left or right a bit and it'll start fading a bit but it's still watchable and only slightly diminished...Not had much time to test it out yet as I have two kids wanting crappy kids tv in sd 24/7!

Yes it's an odd tv I've not made up my mind about it yet possibly because I had a plasma before and moving to led is a bit weird I guess the only thing I'm not sure about is the PlayStation blur to be honest it feels stronger but is it a deal breaker or will I get used to it I don't know...deciding now.

I know there is quite some difference in price, but I'm considering this against the Panny 802 which is still available at some currys stores... The viewing angle issue might be a killer for me.

I'm sticking with it...It does have it's merits. I think I was more shocked with having led tech after getting used to plasma. Also blemishes show up more on a 4k 50" tv. You can get it to look pretty good with some fiddling. After years i kind of expect much more progress sometimes... I think only much more expensive tv's will top the tv properly and I'm not ready to go for one yet possibly when the new oleds get cheap I'll move up!

    TV arrived this morning.

BAD NEWS - Gutted as it's faulty. It has a small black circular mark towards the middle of the screen, looks like some dirt in the LCD.

GOOD NEWS - getting replacement tomorrow, tried a few 4k vids and screen looks great after a bit of settings changing.

Will let you know how it handles the ps4.
HDR and Freeview Play coming to the set in a future update.
