Hikvision DS-7308HQHI-SH still an option?

I have an old Swann CCTV system which has worked for years but the picture quality is pretty poor even though I have had 2 decent cameras on it over the years. I am presuming that it is the DVR itself which is not up to the task so have been thinking about replacing it. I have noticed that I can get the Hikvision DS-7308HQHI-SH for less than £100 new without hard drive. I know it's an older model with H264 and was a lot more expensive when launched but is it a false economy and is there something better/newer for that sort of money. I don't really need more than 2 cameras and my priority is picture quality and good motion detection.
