Netflix have an autumn slot in place for this high profile release. Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson play Texas Rangers lured out of retirement to track Bonnie and Clyde. William Sadler and Kathy Bates also star. John Lee Hancock (Saving Mr Banks, The Founder)directs. Looking good, and could be the exception to Netflix's usual output.

I remeber that quite well I was going to say Jane Badler from V and Tim Russ form Voyager were in it but shows them in the clip. I do remember him saving a scientist Wendie Malick from aliens taking over people and her facility blowing up(who was in a long running comedy Dream On).
Also one where he goes back in time and the filmed the past in B&W????
The use to show it up and around midnight very short run series.
Only other time I recall seeing Sam L Jones (Flash Gordon) was a bounty hunter in SG1 a good episode as well.

Totally on board with this. Trailer looks cracking. Day one watch on 'Flix for me.

Looks really good. I like the idea of Costner playing it like an older, battle hardened, world weary version of Elliot Ness. I never used to be keen on Harrellson but the man is, to use a well worn cliche, like fine wine.

Reportedly director John Lee Hancock first got involved with the project “13-plus years ago,” he hoped to cast Paul Newman and Robert Redford.

Going to try and catch this at the weekend. It's looking like an above average entry for Netflix all being well. :smashin:

Watched this yesterday and I too really enjoyed this. Had a "Road to Perdition" feel to it, right down to the sweeping cinematography and soundtrack although not quite matching the classiness of Road to Perdition's colour pallette and camerwork which was truly cinematic.

Of course Costner and Harrelsson brought immense gravitas and quality to the film. I have to admit, though...I really struggle understanding Costner's gruffy delivery!

Fascinating true story perspective of a bewilderingly beloved couple of murderers.

    Another Netflix delight
