Highlander DTS (R1) has just been announced. Oh Poo!. I framed my first Highlander DVD after I bought the much improved R2 version. I just know that I won't be able to resist buying the DTS version.

More importantly, are they using the US theatrical version or the Directors cut (Euro) version?
Is this the one from Anchor Bay? If so, the only way you'll get the (better) Euro/directors cut is by buying the limited edition 2 disc set that contains both US theatrical and Directors cuts, and once the limited edition is out of print all that'll be available on R1 is the theatrical version. So if you're going to get it, and I hear it is actually going to be properly remastered this time, grab the limited edition while its available although you doubtless will only watch the theatrical cut once as it's so awful but the directors cut won't be available on its own.
