Where can you buy High Quality F-type connectors?
http://www.lektropacks.co.uk/ have excellent RF plugs, but I've often thought the same about F-type connectors.
Therefore ditto, any suggestions?
High quality in what respect? It's just a lump of metal that you screw or crimp onto the cable. Most are nickel plated brass and quite resistant to corrosion. Obviously the main criterion is that impedance mismatch is minimised. Not easy to measure!
High quality looks, what else?
I'm looking for 'high quality' in terms of electrical and mechanical characteristics.
Also, trying to find connectors which are easier to attach to the cable.
In my field of work, F connectors seem to be poorly made compared to other RF connectors. Have you looked at CPC or RS? There is a US supplier 'Pasternack' which has the most comprehensive little catalogue, they are cheap and very helpfull and will deal with small quantities.
As for impeadance mismatch, hopefully the manufacturer has done the job correctly. Some cheaper supplier ( no names) look good intially, but tarnish over time.
Lump of metal eh! I hope they have the decency to machine it!
Never had any problems with the Maxview ones sold in B&Q and the like
Separate names with a comma.
