I have a REL Stampede sub. I had to replace the high level lead. So I ordered a new one from Chord. The old REL high level lead is connected with:
    Yellow - Left, positive
    Red - Right, positive
    Black - Left negative

When the Chord lead arrived there was no yellow connection but one red, one black and one blank. I got back in touch and was told they should be:
    Red - Right, positive
    Black - Left, positive
    Blank - negative

I was never sure whether this was correct so I thought I would email Chord to double check, the reply I had was:
    Red - Left, negative
    Black - Right, positive
    Blank - Left, positive

To me this still does not sound right, does anyone know how I can tell which is the right configuration? I completely lost and have no idea how this works.

    Thanks

    According to the BKXLS200...

    Red: Red Terminal Right
    Yellow: Red Terminal Left
    Black: Either black terminal

Realise that it's not the same sub but it is consistent with your original lead...PJ :)

REL used to wire up their leads differently from standard but I am not sure whether they still do. Best thing is to contact REL directly and ask them.
