High gain prob.

Novice Member
I have a Da-Lite high gain screen [2.8] . I would like to know if there is anything that I can do to this screen to make it matte white. I don't mind rubbing it or sanding it.
The other question is that I was considering a black out screen instead, will this be good or should I buy a proper screen material?

Exactly what is the problem?? What type of screen do you have...permwall..contour..fixed..pulldown.?

problem is that the screen has got a small viewing angle and I know that it's not that good with my infocus pj. I had bought this type of screen as I had a sharp lcd pj before and it did not have a lot of lumens so this screen helped a lot. The screen is fixed and as I said I don't mind rubbing or sanding or whatever as long as I will make it a little bit matt. I am not in a state to buy another screen right now so any ideas can help.
