Looking for a bit of help!!

I am looking for help choosing a new high definition LCD

I have a budget of approximately £1000 give or take a few hundred quid.
I am also limited on space so don't want a screen any bigger than 32” and no smaller than 26", as this is only going to be used in a small games room.

The LCD will be used mostly for my Xbox360 and watching fast moving pictures/TV (sports, movies, etc...)
So I am looking for something with high quality picture and a good refresh rate.

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated

    Reg
    :)

Thanks for the links unfortunately I couldn’t see any refresh rates under the technical specification. I have been told to look at the following brands

    Pioneer
    Panasonic
    Sony
    Hitachi

As they have fastest refresh rate, but unfortunately I am unable to locate any specific data/facts.

With LCDs and plasmas, refresh rate does not have the significance that it does with CRT, because AIUI their images are generated progresively and continuously, rather than by scanning.

European flat panel TVs have a (PAL or SECAM) refresh rate or 50Hz, and that's it, unless anyone has anything else to add? Some Pioneer G6 plasmas are supposed to accept and display 50, 75 and 100Hz inputs, but I think they're the exception.
