PS3 announcements included it having TWO HDMI connections ISTR.

I would expect the US versions (at least) of the XBox 360 and PS3 to also have analogue component HD outputs given that this is still the defacto HD interconnect standard in the US.

(Can you imagine launching an HD product in the States that would not work with the vast majority of existing installed HDTVs?)

How much will 4-way HDMI switchers go for!?

PS3, HDTV, PC maybe. At least with PS3 you might not need another bluray player, and Xbox 360 currently only has analogue outputs.

tvs never come with enough sockets alot of teles come wityh three scart but only one maybe two are RGB so you have to get a scart RGB switch box. the same will be true with HDMI at the moment they only come with one in a couple of years time they will come with two still not enough then in a few more years time three but im not going to wait maybe five or more years to get HDTV so i wil just get a HDMI switch box problem solved

Xbox 360 component hd and possible vga support, no hdmi . You will need a component switch box not HDMI
