Thanks for the tip, I've just paid for one myself for work as they won't give me a decent chair. Now I'll look like the big boss... ;)

    Cheers,
    Cal.

Got mine. Ordered yesterday afternoon - delivered today at lunchtime!

It's probably worth getting a normal fabric-covered one of a similar price if you want a better shape, but once this is all assembled you can't beat the ponce factor for £35. :D

    Thanks again,

    MuFu.

Seriously... that is impressive. I've only come across that a couple of times before - both times with Securicor, mind.

got mine yesterday - cheap build but ideal for pc use. :)

Is it real leather? it looks like vinyl or something to me.

Was thinking of getting a couple for the cinema room (don't use the wheels!), but there's not enough tilt in the back squab. Easy to fix bass shakers too though. ;)

    Gary.

If its not real leather let me know - I'm vegetarian so won't use leather goods, but if this is fake, count me in :)

It's leather faced ie only the top of the seat and the front of the back are leather - the bits your body touches. The rest is immitation.

If you check the ends on the chair when you pull out the cushions you can see the back is like suede. Where as the ends from the back and bottom are fabric backed.

The leather will not be the best and is highly treated for longevity making it seem less leather like than an expensive jacket say.

    Cheers,
    Cal.

If you want leather recliners for your cinema room I recommend Ikea's Malung leather faced chairs for about £98 each.

Look them up on their website if your interested. I've had mine for two and a half years and they're still looking good.

    Cheers,

    Cal.

I'm in the same boat as you, puddleduck and was rather hoping that it was vinyl.

I rather desperately need a new chair, so I'll post again if I make any lightning discoveries:lesson: :D

I ordered 2 of them last week. Are you finding them a little uncomfortable ?
Reason i ask is i have some lower back pain and i cant work out if its the new chair or when i slept on my mates sofa last weekend !

It's probably the chair - they have no lumbar support whatsoever.
