Hi, I am a newbie and in need of some advice from the pros! I currently own a Pioneer HTD-5 surround system, but I would like a seperate hi-fi system as I have recently invested in a Pro-ject Debut II turntable.

Regards loudspeakers, I am thinking of purchasing either some Mission M73s, KEF Q3s or B&W DM601s - bare in mind Im on a very tight budget (being a student). Anyone recommend which of these I should get (I'm mainly into classic rock - who, zeppelin, floyd etc and some metal)?

Also, anyone have any recommendations as to what amp/pre-amp I should purchase? I have seen these on ebay, are they any good?

I know I said I wanted just a hifi system but would a Yamaha AX620 with a Project Soundstage (for my deck) work well? If anyone could help me out this would be much appreciated as my head is spinning due to all the different possible combinations! Overall I just want a good, clear, warm sound at a decent price!

    Thanks guys.
