I'm looking to wall mount my plasma, and to hide all the gear in the adjacent room (my study). I need to mount an IR sensor on the plasma or one of the speakers, and then extend the IR signals through the wall to the equipment on the other side of the wall.

Any idea where I can get a kit for this sort of thing?

the key word in my original post was "kit". I've piced my way through the site on the previous post, and it looks like I'm in for about 100 notes (4 devices). Anyone got a view of preferred suppliers / models etc.

I don't know what you are like with a soldering iron, but you could probably make a remote repeater for about £25 (even less if you alrady have a 12V power supply). I'm tweaking one of these at the moment, but there is a circuit on the internet here.
