    Hi does anybody know the process to claim under their warranty. I purchase a tv from St Albans the shop is now closed down and no longer trading.

    Do you have the original paperwork for the warranty?

    With some luck it might be backed by an insurance company rather than the retailer themselves.

    Chris just found the paperwork warranty out of date. The underwriter was domestic and general group plc. Thanks for your help anyway

    Sorry to hear your bad luck.
    Was your warranty with them or an extended manufacturer warranty?

    My Sony TV, purchased from their St.Albans store, has just stopped working.
    On my receipt it shows "5 Year Warranty for Sony TVs via redemption by the customer".
    I have an email confirming I registered the television with Sony but can't find anything about the free warranty redemption. :(
