I have a spare Linn K 85 and am just about to set up another system for music for my brother using it and a spare Classik.

I also have a few terminated lengths of odyssey which I would rather not break down as they are maufacture soldered to banans and BFA plugs. I was wondering then; would I be able to conect from the K85 one set of leads direct to his L/R Spendors and use the spare speaker terminals on the K85 to take a run direct to the Hi speaker terminals on the Castle Sub.

yes absolutely! it is then a matter of using the crossover on the sub to bring it in under the main speakers, so there is little overlap in the frequencies. this can be done by ear but it may help to have a set of test tones and an SPL meter to hand.
