A mate of mine works for an Acer distributor and says they are about to launch a stonking 32" HD-ready widescreen LCD TV. She reckons the spec. is as follows (although don't quote me on it):

    Native resolution: 1366 x 768
    Contrast ratio: 800:1
    Brightness: 500 candellas
    Response time: 12 m/s
Inputs: All the usual plus DVI-D (with HDCP)

Apparently the price hasn't been set but the rumour is £1099, which sound like great value to me. I already have one of Acer's 26" LCDs and I have to say it is bleedin' brilliant, but I can see it getting relegated to the bedroom pretty swiftly!

Anyone know of anything with a higher spec for £1099?

Well that's amazing - Apparently this thing is meant to be a big secret and doesn't launch until May!
