Yes you can add it by name but it cant be added to the online data base. The only Hero dvd that are listed on the data base are the Chinese releases.
Sadly its not the directors cut but at under £10 for a 2 disc set with DTS etc its well worth getting.

It has a dts soundtrack as well:rolleyes:

This way some people who wouldn't normally buy a film that isn't in the English language and has a duel language cover might be interested too. I think international cinema deserves a wider audience. :smashin:

    Is the cover in English?

I have a load of Columbia Tristar R3s that don't have a UPC. They are identical to the R1 though, so I just added the R1 to my DVD Profiler, changed the region to "3" and then locked the region (I didn't upload the changed profile).

EDIT - Director's Cut should be out on R3 in April.

Just finished watching it - Superb :smashin: Far better than the dull crouching tiger hidden dragon. Lovley anamorphic picture and
James45 totally agree about the DTS track - fantastic the scenes with the arrows flying and the forest fight with the leaves sound awsome.
Not sure if the directors cut will improve the movie - as the pace was about right - anyone know what the extra footage is ??
Watched most of the extras theres a few short interviews that are on the cast and crew section which have eng subs. Most of the rest have no Eng subs.
Anyone know how to access the Hidden menu i cant sem to access it unless i use the title buttons and go through the titles (the trailers are title 3, 4 etc)

the blue library scene is also great for use of surrounds, when he cuts the bookcases and they collapse. Loads of straining ropes and sword swishes.

Have too say this film is stunning. Everybody must buy this film right now or I will personally come round too your houses and give you a kick in the nads. If you never see this film you are missing a seriously beautiful and moving work of art.

Also I must agree with James about the dts soundtrack  it is stunning and adds to this amazing cinematic experience.:smashin:

I have the mainland China release of this film. Just the 1 one DVD no English on the cover or menus.
There are selectable English subs when the film starts.
    And what a film!
Just awesome, it's like Kurosawa meets the Wachowski Brothers.
The simple Rashomon style plot doesn't throw up any surprises but the all star cast is outstanding and it's easily the visually most stunning film I have seen in ages. Fantastic.
Don't wait until the end of the year for the cinema release, get a hold of this now!
