Here is themulti region hack for lecson 1000

    just got one and I have made it multi region using the following hack.

    with the remote control press the open/close button on the remote.

    with the tray open press intro then press 20110

    tv will display set ok

    close the tray.

    job done.

    I have tried it with r1,r4 & r2

    it also plays r1 charlies angels which is rce encoded.

    Is this the new player from Debenhams? If it is, can you tell us if it's got progressive outs, and if you've tried them, is it any good?

    yes it is it and it has progressive outs

    I have not tried them yet as I am still waiting for my panasonic.

    He has tried it it seems to have some good points and bad points

    thanks for the hack mate..
    picked one up this morning (for PAL progressive more than anything) and hack works a treat..
    looking forward to putting it to the test tonight against my Pioneer 939-A
