One round done, how many more. This year he decided to go the long way round. Made hard work of it.
Well, all us hardcore Golf fans are right behind him. Lets hope the referees give him a break, and he scores more goals than the foreign chaps.
yeah, those darn own goals he keeps scoring...
Who's he fighting
The All Blacks I think...
He is probably getting coached by the Australian Cricket team
Will he make to the quarters.....??? the semi's....??? Do we care??!!??!!??
I think not!
Fingers crossed he'll get into the playoffs!
It all comes down to how he is putting... driving for show and putting for dough!!
he'll soon be relegated...
Took my boss to the cleaners... He offered me 10-1 when Henman was 2 sets down... I slipped a cheeky tenner on it... just before I left work. I got a very rude text message at about half-seven... !
He is now in of going to 2-2 after being one set up twice. Doesn't like the easy route. He'll probably beat Federa in straight sets later - if he ever gets there..
Thank god for that. No more cries of "come on tim" from forlorn toffs. Henmania RIP
Definitely out with the old and in with the new. One of the problems with Henman is that his serve is crap.
Murray is currently 1 set up and 1 break up in his match.
Part of me is glad he is out as Games Guru said, no more bloody Come on Tim calls at inappropriate times from the sunstroke ******s.
1 set and 5/2 up now.
Murray has won 2 sets 6-4 6-4.
I'm quite pleased he's out as well as even worse cries of "come on Timmy" from the toffs are usually heard in the later rounds We will also be spared the usual cliches of "Henman Hill" and "Henmania" from the oh so clever and creative press !
Now it's Murray Field and Murray's Mound.
I heard of Murray Walker
I'm glad he is out now...in the previous few years there has always been that slight hope that he could actually win it with a bit of luck in the back of my mind, but this year that slight optimism wasn't there for me. There was an inevitability about it this year.
Murray looked an excellent player to me, much more potential then Henman...a much better all round game with plenty of different ground strokes. His serve looked his weak point, but could go on another round I would say. Although physically he looked buggered after the second set.
I think Murrays Mint....
er, sorry, I will get my coat....
Henman must be the richest loser in history, has this guy ever won a tournament, any tournament?
Yep a few....inclunding the Paris Masters a couple of years ago by beating Roddick, Federer, triple French Open champion Gustavo Kuerten and Sebastien Grosjean on route to the title.
Don't knock it, the guy makes a living by playing tennis! I would love to make a living by playing sports but I have to use my other skills to pay the bills. Even when Henman hangs up his bat he will still have an income from endorsments and the like
Don't forget Murray beat the current number 13 in the world yesterday.....hmmm, could be the new star...... Tim never seemed to have that killer instinct in my opinion, he was too nice to win the tournament.
11 of them so far according to Radio 5 yesterday. Unfortunately, he's never won a Grand Slam tournament and that's probably how history will judge him.
