    Hi guys,

    I have a problem.

My Phillip plasma has developed a fault :( JL have been very kind and offered to swap for same or another....

I'm worried if I have another Phillips it may go the same way, shutting down after 4-6 hours.

I am considering the Pioneer 433HDE or the Panasonic series 5, which one is better?

I want it to be simple to connect and use, I don't want to have to buy extra converters etc.

I think the Pioneer does split screen so I'm leaning towards that at the moment, but would like to know if the supplied undermount speakers are any good?

Also, what length are the cables supplied, I need approx 3.5m to get from the wall to the cuppoard housing the media box.

    Any advice most appreciated.

    Sources.

    DVD
    Sky
    Video
    Digi box

    All connected using scart leads.

    Hi yasa22,

The connecting cable from the Pioneer media box is 3m long, but a 7m one is available as an option for around £130.
