Hello,

I am going to buy my first camcorder and was hoping for some advice.

I am looking for a camcorder around £200 and was hoping for one using DVD.

Any advice?

DVD camcorders have an advantage as you can shoot, finalise, and play a DVD, but quality isn't quite as good as a DV model (especially in the budget end of the range), and you need to be careful or can have problems (see here http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=648060 )
