hi all ;-)

I've got a toshiba 42" HD ready lcd tv.

Sony HD dvd player

Bought 3 HD dvd movies i really like.

Question: to get them to appear as HD quality, do I have to alter any settings on the TV? or is it just a case of whack the HD dvd into the HD dvd player and VOILA, you i'll have HD quality?

here is the dvd player i've got, I take it that it is definitely a HD dvd player??

Once connected to the TV via a HDMI cable just make sure in the DVD settings it is set to 1080i.
Good TV.
