Im currently looking for a cd player for NO more than £110

im basically want one with a:
    headphone socket,
    optical output,
and anything that might be useful, and as future proof as possible.

I would be nice if it was new.

I havent got a clue what brand to get.

And i would also prefer to spend the minimum amout possible.

    Hope someone can help

If you look at Richer sounds, for example, you could get either a Sony CDPXE570 for £99.95, NAD C521 for £119.95, and you could even get the Sony SACD player SCDXE670 for £119.95 (£129.95 in silver). All new and boxed with remotes.

All come highly recommended in most mags.

    I've quoted Richer Sound's advert in October's WHAT HI-FI.

Just checked, the NAD has got a coax connection not optical. Coax is considered better but I imagine you want optical for a minidisc deck or portable.

Keep an eye on the Classifieds here too!
