HELP !! Xbox 360 & Philips 37PF9631D

Guys,

Can anyone help me pls.

Got this fantastic philips 37pf9631d yesterday, when i connect me xbox 360 to the component sockets, then select the ext3 chanel on the tv, it displays that it is being shown in 480p ??????? why is it being shown in that and not 720p or 1080i ?????

Is it something im missing ??

Make sure the switch on the back of the video cable that is right beside the 360 (where it plugs in) is in HDTV mode.

Then in the settings, select Display, HDTV settings and then select your resolution (480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p)
