Help with xlobby and power dvd

    When i click on the dvd images in xlobby to play, power dvd starts up but does not play straight away, have to then press play and then it takes me to playlists/edit/load etc and i cannot work it out :confused: . Probably very simple :lesson: but have now got brain drain :suicide: HELP.

    it sounds like you have powerdvd set to "file " mode instead of "dvd" mode. Because powerdvd can also play svcd's and vob files, it has a file mode to allow you to set individual files.

    I'm not sure which graphic on the interface does it (it's difficult to describe things like hammer, saw, squiggly line) but if you hover over them a tooltip will pop up, look for the one labelled file mode and click it to set it to dvd mode.

    looked in power dvd and cannot find the modes you mention do you know where they are werner
